The cool air stings my skin as I open my front door. I forgot Pittsburgh requires a jackets in the fall. My puppy, Sidney, runs in front of me and we begin walking down the winding path. Although the air is cool, the sun is still shining. The only sound I am concentrating on is the crunching of the leaves below my feet. I think about my schedule for the day, it's completely empty. A feeling of relief comes over me and I smile, a break from the stressful environment at High Point University is much needed. Sidney and I begin walking back to my house, not before Sidney makes one pathetic attempt to chase after a squirrel. I laugh and realize how happy I am to be home.
