Response Questions

Response Questions:

1) With regards to profiles I learned that it is essential for the writer to think "out of the box." Asking questions that will stir up emotion and interesting quotes from the person he is interviewing. Short and powerful paragraphs are the way to go. In History I learned that getting the facts checked and checked again is crucial. Historical writing depends on being completely %100accurate or it will fail miserably. With travel I discovered that journals, journals, and more journals is the key to writing a good piece

2) This story made me stick to stomach, I wanted to throw up. Domestic violence is horseshit; any guy that beats on a girl Is a true coward. This Cartier guy was completely off his rocker. I have two sisters and I worry what if they get mixed up with some asshole like this? I strongly encourage them to take a weapon with them wherever they go. I also found it interesting that the writer, George Lardner, decided to write a story about this, considering his connection. But I believe have to deal with these situations in their own way.
