Ping Pong Warriors

Two warriors, two paddles, one white ball, one war being fought.

The arena for these two warriors is the arcade located in the University Center. Intensity surrounds the table with each and every slap of the paddle against the ball.

The venue is one of “pings” and “zings” bouncing off the walls of the arcade. The brightly lit table gives each warrior the vision he needs for success.
This match isn’t being played for money or fame, no something far more important; pride. Each point that is won is a boost of confidence. Each point that is lost is like a cold hard slap in the face. The technique of each warrior is vastly different from the other.

Warrior 1 controls his paddle as a painter would control his paintbrush. Smooth, and swift the ball curves to his opponents side. Warrior 1 is finesse and technique a true master of the game.

Warrior 2 is power. He relies on his strength to overpower his opponent. With a giant swing he gets his opposition back on his heels and lets his bicep do the work.

The contrasting styles make it a battle for the ages. With no scoreboard, it is difficult to tell who is winning and who is losing. Being a witness to this great battle between two phenomenal warriors is all the gratification one needs.
